A table football tournament full of emotion

We fulfilled the wish for a foosball table for the staff months ago. Since then, the game has become increasingly popular. After X games and many preceding lunchtime battles, it is finally done. The first GLT foosball tournament was not only well attended but also a complete success—the football table as a medium, the tournament as an emotional concept. Table football has a positive connotation and generates passionate moments.

To enable as many colleagues as possible to follow the spectacle without standing close to each other, the tournament was “broadcast live” without further ado. Thanks to the mobile video conferencing system, everyone had the opportunity to follow the match on the screen and to stand at the table for their own game.

The team-building character of the tournament brings a lot to the table. Still, the fun was not neglected either, as statements like this one from the staff show: “… due to the random team composition, I had a perfect time and was able to play with colleagues from other departments, which made the whole thing even more exciting.”

An absolute classic that directly creates a hilarious atmosphere. For sure, this was not the last tournament. But as tradition would have it, the winner was immortalised with his signature under-the-table football for all subsequent matches.
